The story of today

I got up.
Jeff called to say that he could come over and use partition magic to fix my computer.
I cleaned up my room in anticipation of Jeff seeing it.
Jeff's partition program fixes my computer... this process took about four hours. It would have taken less time to just format the drive and reinstall everything, but where's the fun in that?
We watched anime. Disc 6 or whatever of You're Under Arrest, and the first episode of Read or Die. Jeff wants to see the rest of Read or Die. Not so sure about the other one. ^_^
After he left I finished my laundry, watched more You're Under Arrest, took a shower, watched some more anime.
I saw that my computer was fixed and I fixed the floppy drive cable which was installed upside down. It runs pretty well now.
I put on my black Dread Pirate Roberts shirt which I'd found while cleaning up my room and had thrown in the laundry.
I took my old computer to the Tai-Pan Editorial Board meeting. I was very late.
Much discussion ensued. I took part of the sourcebook as an editorial assignment. Gene took pictures.
Later we sat around and talked. Kristin returned disc 3 of Martian Successor Nadesico. I borrowed from Gene and Mike disc 4 of Hellsing.
Jeff decided to take my old computer home with him after all. He had to get permission from Jeri-Lynn first, which was why he didn't take it home directly from my house.
Said computer, if it can be made to live again, will probably be donated to Norwescon. I've been assured that at 450/500mhz it is much more powerful than anything they already own.
I came home. I anticipate watching even more anime, but I'm almost out of You're Under Arrest. This is box 2... I need to order box 3 and box 4 now.
Actually, I think they have box 3 down at Wonderworld in Burien. Hmmmmmm....
