miko2I just removed the Yahoo Toolbar from my browser (and my computer). Not just because it was annoying and cluttered with adds and other things of that nature. Not just because Yahoo! makes me gag, and I never use them for searches (I always use Google). Not just because I already had the Google Toolbar on my browser, and it's worked just fine thanks, it's not cluttered with useless junk and it blocks popup adds for me.
No, the main reason I removed it is because I never agreed to install it in the first place! I have no idea where or when I clicked the wrong thing and somehow allowed this piece of crap to be installed on my computer... but the fact that it could be installed without me realizing it is just one of many many many reasons to hate Yahoo with a passion and hope that their company sufferes a very messy death very soon. Yahoo! = Corporate Bastards.
I've been listening to the Tori Amos cd that Kristin lent me. I was thinking I should see if she's listened to the most recent of Sarah McLaughlin's cds, or maybe she'd like Hem... but you know, while those are nice cds, this Tori cd is far more interesting and varied. And much longer too... it's a very long cd, with lots of songs on it, all of them quite good. I need to go buy my own copy.
And I need to remember to give her my extra copy of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King boxed set.
I made a list of things to accomplish over the weekend, and then I failed to do any of them other than doing some laundry. I'm pathetic. I spent some 12+ hours on Sunday just messing around in Photoshop, designing clothing patterns to upload into Second Life. Bleah. But it's amazing how when I get really into doing something like that in Photoshop I can just get lost and go without food or sleep or whatever until I'm exhausted.
But tonight I spent working on my story ideas list. Which is kinda sad actually, since I only added 5 or 6 ideas in over 4 hours of work. It didn't help that I accidentally closed WordPad after writing up four or five ideas, and I hadn't saved any of them.
Big news story: North Korea called us "hooligans". We calld them "bullies". Could more name-calling follow? Stay tuned!
