May. 27th, 2005 03:04 pmAll week long my plan has been to work on "Hair of the Throug that Bit Me" and to edit "Monkey In The Middle" and send that to Gene. But mostly I've played City of Heroes instead. ^_^
Anyway I've given up on getting much written on the Throug story, but I pulled up Monkey and read through it. It's been a long time since I looked at it, but it's still a very fun story and has very few problems to fix. The only real problem is that it's longer than it needs to be, so I need to cut a scene or something. Chuck had reccomended cutting the engine room scene before, and that does seem best. I like just about every scene in the story, which is probably why I avoided editing it. But if I can collapse the engine room scene into the following one I might be able to salvage the best parts of both and still reduce the size of the story.
I also need to edit my copy of Child's Play for tomorrow's meeting. I'll try and get Monkey edited tonight and e-mail it to Gene, so he'll have it before tomorrow... then I'll start working on Child's Play so I can have it edited before the meeting.
And then if I have extra time I can work on Hair of the Throug or I could work on more story ideas for my list.
Or I could play some more City of Heroes. ^_^
By the way... they've got some sort of promotional thing going for the holiday weekend, where I can let a friend play for free or something I think. I didn't read it too carefully acutally. But you know, just in case one of you can't find enough ways to waste your time... ^_^
