I was reading about Cat Stevens the other day (been reading about various folk artists) and there was the bit where he backed the fatwah to kill Salmon Rushdie for writing Satanic Verses, and in the huge backlash that followed, radio stations refused to play his music and 10,000 Maniacs even went back and removed a cover of "Peace Train" that had appeared on their "In My Tribe" cd.
Well, I had to go look at my copy of that cd, and as it turns out, mine has the cover of Peace Train. So... for whatever that's worth. It would have annoyed me to find that I had the "gimped" version, but other than that, not worth much I guess. ^_^
