I haven't seen or talked to Tom all week, but he moved some stuff out yesterday so that's a good sign.

I've been moving my little crates that hold about 20 cds each down to the new apartment a couple at a time, and I was stacking them in the space between the two closets in the bedroom. There's a wall gap of about a foot or so there, which was just the right size for the crates, which hold about 20 cds each I guess. I kept stacking them up, until the vertical stack was about six feet high. It seemed sturdy enough to me, but when I walked in yesterday, the tower had fallen over. :p Most of the crates just landed on the floor, but of course the three or four that had been on the top launched cds across the room.

I was there on my half hour lunch break, I didn't have time to pick everything up. I moved boxes in and went back to work. After work I just went home, I'll have to deal with it when I go down on Sunday. ^_^

Tentative plans are to make a run down on Sunday, maybe with the help of

kehf and

dehd. They offered anyway, I'll ask them about it at the round robin/writer's night thing later today. Will be good to show

dehd the road up there and get his opinion on what kind of truck can make that nasty turn... uphill, twisting 180 degrees to the right.

And then the next weekend, Saturday or Sunday, we get to move the big stuff. ^_^
