Mar. 8th, 2006 10:04 pmI got my Sakura soundtrack vol 4 today. Now I can listen to "Fruits Candy" whenever I want. ^_^
Eh, not much really to say about today. It's very stormy, or was earlier in the day and supposedly will be again. I just hope we don't lose power. ^_^
Haven't worked on my story Kismet today. I think I'm at a point where I need to read any Tai-Pan stories that involve the Azerbajain empire and its collapse, since that is the point where the story starts. That would be maybe New Queensland (before the Azeri collapse anyway) and Sins Of The Brother, I think (doesn't that happen just at the point of collapse?). Well anyway, reading it will tell me if I needed to read it, and it's not a bad idea to go back and read it again anyway. ^_^
Mmmm, nevermind. The Azeri Empire royal family is overthrown in 35.81.06, which is about a year after Sins of the Brother. (Timelines are handy things). Now I'm wondering how much earlier it was that Hraln won its freedom, and for that matter, Hautakivi.
I should reread Rock 'Til You Drop too, I guess.
Not sure of anything else.
But, meh, I still really couldn't explain what the plot of the story is or how all of the scenes in the story move the plot forward, which makes me think that some of them probably don't, or else that I don't really have a solid plot. It's a sort of "character makes a decision, things in his lift eventually go very wrong, he has a chance to make that decision again -- a chance at redemption -- and he decides to make the same decision he made the first time". Dunno if that works as a plot or not. ^_^ Nor am I certain my character is going to get a lot of empathy from the reader. Well, he's a ruthless pirate after all.
Gonna watch all the extras on my Howl's 2 disc set tonight too.
