Spirited Away
Sep. 30th, 2002 01:05 pmWhat a cool movie. ^_^ Sky and Jwyl dropped by Sunday after I finally got up, and then Jeff showed up, and we watched Fooly Cooly (not sure how it's spelled) while waiting for my ex roommate Tom to show up. I demonstrated AC2 for everyone, then we drove downtown, grabbed some quick burgers at Dick's, and went to see Miyazaki's latest animated masterpiece, Spirited Away. Awesome. As Sky says, how could you ever expect him to top Proncess Mononoke? Every time, you figure he can't top himself, and he does.
Afterwards we dropped Jeff off at ths car and drove down to Gene and Mike's and went to the InnBinn, a good Chinese restaurant that happened to be close and open. We talked a short while but some people have to work in the morning so Tom and I went back to my place and watched Excel Saga vol 2 and all of Photon, which Tom liked a lot.
So I didn't have time to write or play games or even check on sports scores or news or anything... but it was a fun day. ^_^
