Friday Night Musings

I write so many journal entries in my head. If only I could transfer them directly to my journal as I think of them, you'd have endless entries of mine to read. So that's probably a good thing that I can't do that.

Wah!

It might be a dangerous thing to mention this around certain people (such as Sky), but Tom, Jeff, Jeri-Lynn and I were at the Everett Half-Price Books store tonight, and they had a lot of good anime dvds in. I picked up several, and wished I could have bought a few more. What I got: GTO 1 and 2, Crest of the Stars 2. I wanted to get Crest of the Stars 1 as well, but I was already spending too much money.

What I left on the shelf: Miyuki-Chan in Wonderland, for starters. That's the one I suspect is most dangerous that I mention, because Sky might be persuaded to go spend money tomorrow. Crest of the Stars 1 of course. They had a volume of Ceres Celestial Legend, I think it must be the third dvd because it contained episodes 10 - 13 or so. They had some anime I didn't recognize, and some that I owned such as Photon. Most were $15, I think Photon was $20.

Also, I picked up (and this might be a dangerous thing to mention around certain other people, like say Gene) on dvd: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians! For $7! And it includes a bunch of short Christmas specials and old toy advertisements as bonus material. ^_^ Plus -- this is the other dangerous thing to mention -- they had at least one more copy on the shelves when I left.

Then we went to dinner at Tokyo Ninja. Yum!
