Once upon a time, about yesterday in fact, I got a calender at work. It's an E.J. Bartell's calender... we ship for them. It's truly ugly, but it's very large with lots of room to write down important stuff. So it's exactly what I've been wanting. I have this idea that if I can write down things on a calender then my life will magically become more organized.

Tom moved in today. When I left for work he was lugging stuff into his room. I feel bad that, in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a large living/dining/kitchen area, there really isn't any place for him to put his stuff besides that one bedroom. Never mind that a lot of the stuff in the apartment is only mine because Tom left it to me when he moved out... now it's probably his again. ^_^ But I did promise him the hall closet near his room, I just haven't cleaned it out yet.

So I got up and called Sky's dentist and I've got an appointment for tomorrow at 10:45 am. God help me, I hope I can get up early and make it. This is just a basic dental appointment, where we get to find out how many teeth I need to have pulled out or whatever. I think at least two, although they haven't been bothering me lately. Probably that just means they're really really dead.

I wrote down the appointment on my calender. Cool. ^_^

I also called AT&T and scheduled to have broadband installed on Saturday. I wrote that on my calender too, and then wrote "payday" on Friday and "pay rent" on Thursday. See? My whole week is booked now! I'm organized!

Still can't get DSL in my area. Anyway, broadband will work fine. I just need to figure out how to hook it up and set up a good firewall that I can play EQ through. And then I need a second account so I can dual, hehe.

And I called Saturn, but I found out that my insurance adjuster didn't even look at my car until yesterday, and then he drove away without saying anything to them or even leaving his card, so they didn't know anything, even his name. My insurance company didn't know anything either because it wasn't in the computer yet, but later they called me at work and said that the adjuster was still trying to locate a used part (the seat or a portion of the seat). They want Saturn to do some work to the brakes and engine or whatever, and then I need to find a body shop to do some body work, prolly Aurora Collision since I've used them before, and then Car Toys needs to put in a new stereo... mind you, it's been a week and a half and nothing's even started yet so I may not see my car this millenium but when I do it's going to have everything fixed, even things that were broken before it got stolen.

Then I stopped at Office Max and bought some colorful file folders, some hanging files, and a big plastic file box. Now I can be even more organized! I used to keep all of my bank statements and credit card bills and insurance paperwork and whatever neatly filed, but I haven't been doing that for a while. The plan is to start filing stuff now, and make sure I make my payments on time, and then I can dig out the pile of unfiled stuff from the last few years and then my life will be perfectly organized forever and ever!

The End.
