Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It...

...Is to check out some of the raw blues put out by Fat Possum Records that I've been talking about. Most of these seem to be the complete songs, but are some just sections of the song for you to sample.

It's not quite as good as the version on the "Mississippi Fred McDowell" cd I own, but it's still good. Writer's Update

Woo! I haven't written anything on my story in two and a half days.

In other news, today's shirt is the Patriotic Wolf shirt. I think my parents (or one of my sisters?) bought it for me for my birthday. I've only worn it once or twice, but we likes it. It has a wolf. This, my furry friends can appreciate. It has an American flag. This, my conservative country-listening truck driving co-workers can appreciate. As you can see, the Patriotic Wolf shirt does double duty, and not only that, it conveys a bold message. That message is, "Here is one uber patriotic wolf." Or possibly "Wolves are Americans too." Or maybe, "These colors don't run, but wolves run pretty well, although the ones pictured here are just posing dramatically at the moment."

Well okay, maybe I don't know why my shirt has a wolf and an American flag on it... but I tend to think a lemming superimposed over, say, the flag of Uzbekistan... something like that just wouldn't sell as well around these parts.
