When it comes to online file-sharing, I've mostly avoided it, and I tend to agree that it's clearly illegal... but I've never completely bought the argument that you are hurting musicians because the truth is 99% of the hurt is to the big record labels. Musicians get hurt a little bit, but big labels get hurt a lot, because they keep almost all of the money from record sales. And big record companies are some of the scummiest companies on Earth.

So in the spirit of making the world a better place... down with the big record companies. The sooner they collapse in a pile of mediocre music, the sooner the music industry can reinvent itself into something much more healthy and vibrant.

I'm sitting in my living room with a dozen of my friends. We're playing a Steampunk game. And jwyldragon has her official Chuck Mellville's Felicia Tote Bag with her (made by chuck_melville of course).
