(no subject)

Yesterday while parking my car at Fred Meyers, I heard a Walmart ad saying that they had Return of the King on sale as of the 25th.

Hey, I thought, today is the 25th. You mean it's out already? Cool.

So I grabbed a copy in Fred Meyers and bought it. When I was going through the line, the cashier said, "Do you want some free stuff?"

"What free stuff?" I asked. Turns out that by buying Return on the first day it was out, they were giving out a free 2 liter bottle of Coke and a free dvd about Lord of the Rings. Well, okay! I don't turn down free stuff.

Now the only question is if I can stop playing City of Heroes long enough to watch my new dvds. It goes without saying that I'll have to watch Fellowship and Two Towers beforehand. But we've got a 3 day weekend coming so... :D

Today I had a different surprise. In a little quickie-mart type store that I stopped at on the way to work I found something new... Tim's Cascade Chips, Wasabi Flavor. It's one of their limited edition flavors. I think Tim's Cascade potato chips are some of the best in the world, and I love their Jalapeno chips, but mmmmmm Wasabi. These are really good. I stopped at Safeway on the way home but they didn't have these in stock, so I'll have to look around for some more. :D
