It's the day of our writer's night Christmas ghost story party. Things that I've accomplished today:
1. I woke up.
2. I ordered something on e-bay that I really don't need, but what the heck.
3. Facing the prospect of having to drag out my laptop and set it up and hook it into the network, I instead did something that I should have done more than two years ago. I hooked my printer up to the computer closest to it, and then downloaded drivers for it. Surprisingly, it prints well despite being ignored for two plus years. As for why I would live without my printer for over two years, I have no answer to that. I suppose the very thought of spending 20 minutes hooking it up and installing the drivers instead of laying on the couch or playing computer games was just too much to bear. ^_^
4. I finished my story. It's short, and I don't know that I like the results. But that's a pretty common response after I've finished a story, because it never seems to come out as well as I imagined it would in my head.
5. I printed my story. Wonder of wonders!
Thngs I still need to do:
1. Go buy a couple more presents.
2. Wrap presents.
3. Recieve two books that I ordered in the mail -- which are more likely to arrive sometime next week. Le sigh. I guess I get to wrap a couple of "present to be delivered later" notes. But the mail has yet to arrive, so there's still some slim hope.
4. Arrive to party on time. I guess we'll see. ^_^
