Mar. 7th, 2006 01:50 amI'm so totally lame.
After watching Kodacha dvd vol 4 Sunday, I picked up the manga and began reading where that dvd had left off. I read the rest of volume 3, and volume 4, and part of volume 5. I tried to go to sleep at 2 am but I didn't feel tired (long story -- I got up too early on Saturday, then took a nap in the evening, got my sleep schedule all messed up, and slept in really late on Sunday). So anyway since I couldn't sleep I got back up and read some more -- all of volume 5 and 6 and 7. I went to bed after 4 am. Then in the morning I read volume 8 until the last possible minute for leaving for work -- and there was an accident on the road below my apartments, 3 cop cars and a fire engine for what looked like a minor fender-bender at best, and I was 5 minutes late to work.
I took volume 8 with me to work. I really haven't taken anything to read to work with me in ages -- when I worked nights, we really didn't take any breaks per se, I'd go out to get lunch and come back, but I worked 8 hours without any official lunch. But now that I work days I work 8 1/2 hours with an official half-hour lunch and two official 15 minute breaks, although really, I'm so used to not having breaks that I rarely use all 15 minutes because I don't have anything I need or want to do with that time. But today I read Kodacha volume 8 on my breaks. One of my coworkers saw the book and teased me, calling it a kiddy book... which I said it wasn't, but who am I kidding? It's a Japanese girl's comic about 6th and 7th grade kids.
Anyway when I got home I read volumes and 10, which is where the series ends.
It's a good series. But really, all I've done the last two days is read, I haven't gotten anything else done at all. I suck!
