(no subject)

So, the two-week experiment was to try and produce a complete story that might possibly be ready for publication in our July issue. Naturally I went home and started work on a brand new story that probably doesn't fit the plan at all. I was also going to work on my Ian story -- my overly optomistic plan was to finish one story last week and the other this week -- but in the end, what I have is a story that is probably more than half written, every scene sketched in with dialogue and stuff, and last night I managed to get a complete first scene. That probably doesn't sound like much but actually I'm pretty happy with that, I can keep adding more scenes and dialogue forever but getting a complete first scene makes it feel like the story is finally on the way to being finished. I'm not sure if I can complete it this weekend, and as I said I'm not sure it will be what the plan called for in any case, but at least part of the plan was to turn in a story this month no matter what, because having another story in the queue will not be a bad thing. ^_^
