It was a weird week, because my sleep schedule got off and I kept going to bed earlier than I'd like, and waking up early in the morning. Friday I worked until 11 pm and stayed up until after 2 pm so I guess I'm back on what I consider a more normal schedule.
SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL ON MY COUCH!
I have begun my private Shakespeare Festival on my couch today by watching Much Ado About Nothing, a Kevin Branaugh film with Denzil Washington, Michael Keaton, and I forget who else, a bunch of notable actors and actresses. It was quite good. I picked this up a few years ago but I'd never watched it before -- I hadn't even unwrapped the dvd until today.
I'm going to watch a new Shakespeare film each day until I've run out. I'm still undecided about whether I should pick up & watch such things as Rosencranz and Guildenstern Are Dead or Shakespeare In Love.
I got two of the films I'd ordered today -- Taming of the Shrew and Romeo & Juliet. I did a search to see if there was a good film version of Twelfth Night, one of my favorite of the comedies. In fact, there's an excellent version of it out that gets compared to Branaugh's Much Ado as one of the best filmed versions of any of the comedies. I'll have to order that one too. ^_^
GAMING NEWS
Not much to tell. I only played WoW once all week, and then again this morning on Saturday. My druid is now 33, halfway to 34. My tailoring skill has maxed out at 225 until I reach level 35. I finally got myself guilded, so maybe the game won't be quite as boring as before. At least I have people to talk to.
I didn't log into Second Life all week until Friday, much to the distress of my Second Life SO. Right now I'm hanging out with Inara while a friend named First Hill perfects a vendor system. I'm streaming live music that we're listening to... U2, Nightwish, Chieftans, Rudra, Korpiklaani, the usual odd mix. ^_^
