Bleh. My big accomplishment yesterday, if you can call it that, was to read several chapters of Wintersmith. This means I wasn't playing Second Life, which is what I did a lot of on Saturday. My accomplishments for the weekend, again, if you can call them that:

1. Did a lot of building in Second Life. I build a cool tunnel from our tiki club to our grotto, which runs underneath the house and through the side of the hill. I also built a cool entrance to the hidden upper room, and ramps up to the grotto pool from down below, etc. etc.

2. Attended two Second Life classes on scripting in LSL, the Second Life programming language. Unfortunately the rest of the classes are being held each night at 5:00 pm this week so I'll miss all the rest of them. But based on what I learned and using the LSLWiki, I was able to figure out how to script a looped sound effect, which we needed for a friend's fireplace that he'd built. Now the fire crackles and makes a pleasant fire noise.

3. I had pancakes for breakfast on Saturday. I had sort of concluded back in August that pancakes were one of those things I'd have to avoid from now on (mind you, I'd only made pancakes once in the last year before that anyway), but then I picked up some "no sugar added" pancake mix and some sugar free maple syrup, and using those I made some pancakes that could be considered, if not healthy, at least not highly detrimental to my health. ^_^ They tasted so good that I went ahead and had pancakes again on Sunday.

4. Did dishes, did laundry, vacuumed a little. The usual bare minimum of weekend cleaning that I manage so that I don't feel like I've completely wasted the weekend.

But mostly, I did waste my weekend.
