Woo Hoo Internet!
Nov. 25th, 2006 09:23 pmI brought my laptop to my parents house mostly with the idea of working on my Christmas story. I didn't even think to ask my dad if he had a wireless modem, because for some reason I figured he wouldn't. But when I asked today he said yes, and when I plugged in the wireless net card and fired the laptop up, I was instantly connected. So woo! My new laptop rocks!
My parents actually had their Christmas lights up the day before Thanksgiving. Anyway, I had a nice Thanksgiving and my niece climbed all over me and generally made it impossible for me to be alone for two minutes by myself while she was here. Today was a nice day and I walked down to the lake and around part of it. Blah blah, nothing really exciting to report.
I did go see a movie today. I would have liked to see Flushed Away but I was with my sister and niece and my niece wanted to see Happy Feet. It wasn't a bad movie -- a little long for a kid's flick but my niece liked it. Because we arrived late we couldn't find three seats in a row, so I sat in a different row than them, which was probably a blessing, I was able to watch the movie uninterrupted.
I saw on the news that it could actually snow tomorrow in Seattle. I'll probably be headed back in the afternoon.
