I stayed up too late Saturday night playing City of Heroes.
I made soup in the crockpot.
I built a fire.
I watched football.
I worked on my fan fiction story Girls School on and off the whole day. Early in the day I cut the chapter I was working on in half, and published the first half as a chapter in itself. By the end of the day I had the rest of the original chapter -- the next chapter to be published -- all done, and had worked on scenes from the following chapter. But I'm going to wait a week to publish the finished chapter. If I can, I want to be able to publish a chapter a week for several weeks in a row.
It's interesting how Fanfiction.net handles posts. At the moment, if you go search for Ranma 1/2 fanfics there, you still won't see the new chapter of my story. It hasn't appeared yet. But I started getting reviews on it right away. I got a few reviews (the system alerts me via e-mails)... I checked out my story... I couldn't see any new reviews. Later I got more reviews, but when I checked via the web page, only the earliest ones had appeared.
IE, their web pages update very slowly. Which leads me to the conclusion that the roughly 10 or so reviews I got are all from people who have the system flagged to alert them when I publish something new. Fans, in other words, who've been waiting eight long months for the next chapter of this story. Heh.
