Mar. 20th, 2007 01:25 amIt rained all day. For some reason I was in a good mood anyway.
Saturday was good. I got a lot done on my story Hair of the Throug That Bit Me and read it for writer's night. Gene had some new scenes on an old story too. Chuck had more stuff written on his half dozen or more story ideas that he'd ready last month. We had too much food. More people showed up than I'd really expected. It was a good day.
Sunday I goofed off a little more but I still went out for a walk before succumbing to the call of City of Heroes, and I still managed to log off early enough to work on my story a bit. I worked on it today too, so I've gotten quite a bit more done. It's actually in pretty good shape and I estimate I'm as much as 2/3rds through the story already, which might sound surprising given that the murder hasn't even happened yet, but this is not really a whodunnit, and the murder really serves as the device that blows up everyone's carefully-laid plans.
Tonight I decided for some reason to read up on the movie Mystery Men. in the Wikipedia article it referenced The Tick, so I clicked to that and while reading about it decided that I'd like to have the animated Tick and quite possibly the live-action Tick on dvd. As it turns out, only the first season of the animated show is available on dvd at the moment, and it's not complete, and the entire live action series is available on a dvd but is not especially well packaged. I ordered the live action dvd (it was cheaper) and will probably order the animated season one after payday.
I also placed the entire Adventures of Brisco County Jr. on my wish list. It's much more expensive, but I'd like to have it some day. ^_^
And I read about a tv series I'd never even seen called Greg the Rabbit, which sounds like it'd be right up my alley. I might order that at some point too.
