Sep. 10th, 2007 06:32 amMy main computer seems to be badly infected with something. So bad that it often freezes up when I reboot, and if I try to run AVG to check for viruses it freezes up. I'm trying to figure out how to back up my e-mail files and folders, but there doesn't seem to be any intuitive method of doing this from within Thunderbird and I don't even know where Thunderbird stores these files. Any help?
Lovely Monday morning, can barely do anything on my computer.
Never mind, I think I figured that part out. But I'm at work now, and I'm pissed off because it's Monday morning, and my main computer isn't working, and I can't try and fix it because I'm at work.
When I get home I need to finish backing up any important files, see if I can run AVG in safe mode, and if not, probably wipe the hard drive and reinstall from scratch. Bleah.
