My main computer seems to be badly infected with something. So bad that it often freezes up when I reboot, and if I try to run AVG to check for viruses it freezes up. I'm trying to figure out how to back up my e-mail files and folders, but there doesn't seem to be any intuitive method of doing this from within Thunderbird and I don't even know where Thunderbird stores these files. Any help?

Lovely Monday morning, can barely do anything on my computer.

Never mind, I think I figured that part out. But I'm at work now, and I'm pissed off because it's Monday morning, and my main computer isn't working, and I can't try and fix it because I'm at work.

When I get home I need to finish backing up any important files, see if I can run AVG in safe mode, and if not, probably wipe the hard drive and reinstall from scratch. Bleah.

Well for whatever it's worth, I managed to get all of my important computer files backed up, and I ran AVG and then AdAware. Right now my computer is acting fine and is apparently virus free. I don't know why it froze up a half dozen times this morning (it was frozen again when I first got home). It could be that my hard drive is dying or something like that, but it's a new one that we just installed last year when my old one died.

Guess for now I'll wait and see what happens.

Most of the Tai-Pan Artist's APA is printed. What I have left is the "editorial" page and another illo page for myself, or maybe a commentary page too. I dunno. I have time to think about it I guess, I wouldn't be able to get stuff to Gene for mailing before the weekend anyway. Well, I probably could, but I can wait until the weekend.
