Feb. 8th, 2008 02:42 pmI've written very little since NaNoWriMo ended at the end of November. I haven't read all that much lately either.
Last week I finished rereading Pratchett's Men At Arms, which I had started reading several months earlier. Last night I finished listening to Making Money on my iPod, which I had also started listening to sometime in November.
A few days ago I visited the Audiblegold web site and downloaded three new books. I had 3 month's worth of credits saved up. At the moment I can't even remember which ones I downloaded... Eric, which is short of course, but has the advantage of being read by Stephen Briggs, and two of the older books that I was guessing
miertam didn't have. I think one of them was Lords and Ladies and the other was... Thief of Time? Actually I think it might have been Jingo.
I need to burn those to disc and reimport them if only because I like to have them broken up into chapters, and Audible gives them to you in 1 or 2 big chunks per book.
Yesterday was payday. I went up to Half Price Books and picked up a couple of cds... Virgin Black, Neko Case, and The Call. I also picked up season 3 of Futurama. They had season 1 as well, each was $19.98, but I decided that buying both of them was spending more money than I really needed to spend.
I watched a couple of episodes last night. Fun stuff.
