It's cold. No sunshine.

I took advantage of the sun yesterday. I walked once around the apartment complex and then up the hill to the park. I walked around the path twice and back to the apartments. That's about 45-50 minutes exercise, but then I went and did 12 more minutes on the running machine (which is a different kind of exercise -- I work up more of a sweat doing that).

So -- exercise for yesterday: accomplished. Lately I've been down to about 200 lbs again, I want to get below 200 lbs and stay below.

I didn't write last night. Well, technically I made pages of notes on yet another new non-Tai-Pan story that I don't need to write yesterday, but writing down my ideas is at least being productive in some way.

I talked to Nara (Adam) who is coming to Norwescon. That's only a week away! (Yikes!)

As of yesterday I've been doing my song of the day thing every day for 11 months. Mind you, I haven't done yesterday's entry yet. >.>

I spent more time playing around with my alts on Second Life yesterday. I got my 5th alt set up with a gothic lemur look, and then I created my own group, "Shamilama's Little Loli Lemur Litter". You have to be a gothic/sweet lolita lemur who worships the great Shamilama Ding Dong. My five characters are the only members. I'm building a secret cult meeting room / worship center in the back room of the tiki club. I'm thinking torches, wall hangings, and wooden bench pews. And a pulpit somewhere, although of course the Shamilama statue is the main focus.

Back when Mythos Prometheus was sold 2 months ago I removed all of the decorations in the tiki club, because I thought we were moving too or the island was going away. But we're still there (the only ones who stayed) and I've been meaning to put up all the decorations and furnishings again. So, Second Life has a new in-game search tool that is Google-based and therefore really, really good, and I got a tell yesterday from someone who did a search on "Corona" and came up with my name, because I mention in my description of the tiki bar (in my profile picks) that we have cases of Corona beer there. "Can you help me?" he asked.

Uh... that depends on what you want. I said I had some Corona posters and coaster and beer boxes, and he was welcome to copy them if he wanted. As it turned out, he was not only happy with that, but wanted to see the tiki club. Urk. Nobody ever comes to see my tiki club! So I hastily redecorated it and then he and his friend came over... turns out he was a furry wolf character, so he was surprised I was furry too... and they liked the club. I showed them the secret entrance, the secret upstairs room, and the hidden tunnel that leads to the secluded meditation grotto. They were impressed.

That was my virtual adventure for the evening. ^_^

I forgot to add, I totally need to do a "Gothic Lolita Lemur Squad" music mix or mix cd... or maybe a cd on the theme of Shamalama Tiki Gods. Or a more space-oriented sci fi mix for Norwescon. Except that fantasy themes can work for NWCon too, and I have a lot more of those.

Except that I've been wanting to do a mix cd of alternative music songs I've been listening to, but most of them don't really belong on any of the above lists.

Decisions, decisions.

I think I might just go with a large sci fi / fantasy Norwescon music playlist and a large Shamalama Tiki God / Loligoth Lemur Girl playlist, and pick and choose for a cd to hand out, or something.

I dunno.

Possible songs for a Tiki God / Gothic Lemur song playlist:

Tiki God
Gothic Kabbalah
Lullaby song from Kei the Metal Idol
Gods & Monsters
Spirit of the Forest
White Rabbit (Collide cover)
Hot Pink and Distorted
Gold Dust Woman
Fruits Candy (theme from Card Captor Sakura)
Flyswatter

And maybe... Come Along, Tav Ap Hap, Ask DNA, Tear Me Down,Shaman, Lunar Eclipse, who knows what.

Possible songs for a fantasy/sci fi Norwescon playlist:

Ticket to the Moon
I Love You 2095
Wolf Like Me
Regin Smidur
That Kate Bush song about being in love with her computer

and maybe.. Doomsday Clock, Fire Snakes, Firefly Theme, A-Punk, Locomotive Breath, Polkageist, I dunno. Doctorin' the Tardis, Double Back, stuff like that too.
