Jul. 24th, 2008 05:49 pmRode my bike today. This time I rode North, up to the 277th street bridge, which is the border between Auburn and Kent. The trail goes further North but from that point on it's the Kent Interurban trail instead of the Auburn Interurban trail (I guess).
A little bit futher would have taken me to the Green Rivier. Maybe i'll ride up to there next time. In any event I got about 45 to 50 minutes of biking in, so that seemed good to me.
One of the advantages of biking or riding right after work is that I come home and don't feel I have to do anything in particular. Strangely enough, I get more done when I don't have anything to do... if I know I'm supposed to go out and walk still, I'll find ways to put it off and accomplish nothing for an hour or two first. I just feel like relaxing when I get home, but knowing that I'm supposed to go out and walk prevents me from doing anything useful until I take my walk, because I don't want to wind up engrossed in something and forget. If that makes sense. I play a lot of solitaire, check my e-mail a dozen times, etc.
