Aug. 28th, 2008 07:45 pmI was actually already trying to work on my fanfiction story Girl's School a bit the last couple of weeks, but in the last week or so I started reading Sailor Ranko, a web comic based on one of the original "Ranma as a Sailor Senshi" fan fiction stories every written. The web comic is pretty good, and best of all it's published 5 days a week! I have no idea how long they can keep up that schedule, but for now I'm happy. ^_^
Based on this, I've gone back to re-read several of my favorite Ranma/Sailor Moon crossovers and read some new ones. I even decided to sign up for an account at The Temple of Ranma's Senshi Seifuku, a site pretty much dedicated to all fanfic that puts Ranma in a Sailor fuku (most of which are direct crossovers with Sailor Moon, of course).
In what may or may not be a related topic, I have mostly played my character Sailor Shinobu in City of Heroes the last few weeks. She's an invulnerable tanker with energy melee attacks, has Sailor Moon style blonde pigtails, and mostly wears schoolgirl and sailor-style uniforms. Over the last couple of weeks I've gone from level 34 to 43.
However, the last couple of nights I've spent more time reading and writing. Tonight I finally published chapter 13 of Girl's School
(For those that are curious... the Magical Girl Side Story chapters of Girl's School which I wrote last Fall and read to some of my local friends at our monthly writer's groups realistically fit into the story sometime after chapter 20, I think... I still have a few other things to establish before I can publish any of those chapters online.) ^_^
