I didn't exercise this weekend. I've become terribly lazy about doing that on the weekend. I was going to exercise on Sunday but the exercise center was locked up and it started to rain. Instead, I filed paperwork. That might not sound like much but you have to understand that I haven't filed any of my bills, check stubs, or anything like that since I moved into my apartment... I had everything in a huge pile balanced precariously on top of the plastic portable filing case. I'm really, really good at avoiding jobs like this that really aren't that difficult -- but I was able to finally force myself to deal with it because it was a way to avoid exercising. :p

I also swept the entryway. I need to clean up more, but even the little I managed to do has helped quite a bit. But I didn't do dishes or laundry or cook or do much of anything else.

Friday night I received volumes 7, 8, and 9 of the manga Ouran High School Host Club. By Saturday I'd read them all. I think I'm nearly up to the current release schedule... if I remember right, volume 11 or 12 is the one coming out this month. That makes me sad... I need to buy the anime now. I also watched the last 5-6 episodes of Heroes season 1 this weekend... I've been watching that over the last couple of weeks in chunks of 2 to 3 episodes at a time, then waiting a day or two to watch more. Very exciting series, once I got near the end I could hardly stop... I watched the last 4 episodes before the last one in a row, then waited until Sunday to watch the finale.

I picked up a "trick or treat" door sign from my apartment manager on Friday -- you were supposed to put it on your door if you were handing out candy, so that kids would know which doors to knock on. Then I decided to not bother hanging it out. I thought I might get some trick or treaters anyway, but I got none. I only had a few last year... probably I should have put the sign out. Oh well.

Friday at work we had a potluck. Nobody dressed up, but I did wear my forest green renfair shirt that I bought at Norwescon last year. I'd forgotten I even owned it. I was looking for my black pirate shirt, but the renfair shirt is better made and cooler.

Saturday was the beginning of Nanowrimo too. I signed up for it again this year. At least, I went to the site and logged in; it turns out I was already signed up because I did it last year. I wrote nothing on the weekend though, which means I'm already about 3,000 words behind I think. I'm kind of ambivalent about it this year -- I want to force myself to write, but I want to work on Girl's School or other stories I've already partially written. So I guess I'm going to "participate" by ignoring the rule that you need to write a brand new story. I also don't really anticipate getting 50,000 words done, but we'll see. I edited my Girl's School document and saved the first 15 completed chapters as a separate document, then typed the word count of chapter 16 and beyond at the top so I can keep track of how much I add to it.

I also spent a large part of the weekend designing wallpapers for many of my City of Heroes characters... in fact I spent more time working on that than actually playing the game.
