For what it's worth, I uploaded my Girl's School Side Story 2 document last night (into the NaNoWriMo verifier). It was 56,427 words. This is a document that I began in October, so there were 6,510 words already written before the first of November. But I've also written over 300 words in other parts of my Girl's School story (currently saved in 5 different documents, it's a very long story), so by my own estimate I clocked in at just over 50,000 words for November.
I've written over 1,000 words today. I may try to write another 50,000 words in December. Lord knows I need to write maybe twice that to finish off the current storyline and fill in the gaps... maybe 4 times that to wrap up all of my already plotted scenes and ideas.
My AVG Free version expired on November 30th, apparently. It was spamming me telling me that city of heroes was a virus threat, and then that the web page for the comic City of Reality was a virus threat. From what I can tell, they don't even have a free version available anymore, just a 30-day trial version. In any case AVG has become increasingly annoying over the years. I removed it and replaced it with Avast!, I'll see how that goes. At least one opinion I read said that none of the free antivirus programs were as good as what you can purchase, and he reccomended Kaspersky Internet Security. That might be the best option out there, but I can't afford it at the moment.
Of course, Avast! also said that City of Reality's web site was a virus threat. So apparently that part was true. But at least it's not popping up windows on me every time it detects something.
