May. 28th, 2010 08:37 amAt our company they used to have a sales meeting every Monday morning. Mondays were the only days you could expect to see nearly all of the sales people actually at their desks. The rest of the week they were out making sales calls, and since most of them cover areas far North or South of where we are, they would rarely actually appear at the office.
And, probably like many other companies out there, it was amazing how many sales personnel would send out e-mails as the weekend neared saying they were taking Friday off... especially when the weather was nice. If not the whole day, then they'd work in the morning and take the rest of the day off.
About a month ago they switched their weekly sales meeting to Friday afternoon. Amazingly enough, we've seen few of those e-mails since. ^_^
