My Cunning Plan That Cannot Fail
Apr. 30th, 2006 04:18 pmI goofed off yesterday and among other things I streamed music for a myself and a few other friends in Second Life for about 9 hours. :P Of course, that doesn't required my full time attention, I did laundry and read and did some other things as well during that time. I walked to the mail boxes in the pouring rain and did not get my Within Temptation cd for my efforts, only a couple of bills. :p
Today I went to the store and bought some things... milk and a small container of heavy cream, chicken, carrots, celery, cilantro, green onions. I added things I already had at home that I needed to use soon... some potatos, an onion, also some rice. I bought a beef sausage roll too but I may not use that.
I put the chicken and some water and milk into the crock pot first and turned it on. I was going to let that cook a while first, but I got impatient and decided to add the potatos, then the onions, then more milk and heavy cream, and then I went ahead with the carrots, celery, cilantro, rice, other spices. I tured it up on high because it didn't seem to be doing much.
I laid down and watched some television, read a little, and checked on it again. Hmm. It still didn't seem to be cooking very fast... or at all.
So I plugged the crock pot in. Here's hoping that speeds things up. :p
