May. 8th, 2006 10:37 pmSo I ordered a couple of cds from this place yesterday. An hour later when I checked my e-mail I realized that I hadn't included my apartment number when I filled in my address. Well, it was a Sunday evening, they certainly hadn't filled the order yet, and I sent an e-mail reply to both the generic customer service e-mail address, and to the specific person's e-mail address who was listed at the bottom as the customer service rep. This is a very small mail-order company, very likely a 1-person or 2-person operation, so no problem, right?
Well, apparently they like to fill all their orders and toss them in the mail before checking their e-mail. I got an e-mail from them saying that now they'll have to wait a few weeks for the order to return to them before they can fix the address. Erf.
I bought gas on my lunch break today at one of the only places around that still has it for under $3.00 a gallong (hey, 2.99 for regular unleaded counts as under $3.00 doesn't it?). The guy in front of me walked back and commented on how crazy it was there (had to wait in line a bit before I got a spot where I could pump). When I looked up, it was my boss Tim. Well, no real surprise, it was the end of the day for him and the gas station is only a couple of blocks from the main offices. But I guess it just proves that you should always act as if you boss is watching you, heh. ^_^
