Hmmm
1. Bought more patch cords. Results = I can't get BEAST 1 to recognize any mouse. Hmmm, not sure why. Can't network it because it's so old it doesn't have pci card slots... could I possibly find a 10/100 net card built for these ancient slots? I have no idea. As for BEAST 2, closer inspection reveals that it has 2 hard drives in it, so the newer 10 gig (if I remember right) is probably the slave, and the older master is dead... I think I need to get a new drive and install Win95, or maybe I could just pull the drive from BEAST 1? Anyway, kind of fun playing around with old computers I guess, but I don't really know what I'm doing. ^_^
2. Magical Project S is not available on DVD... yet. Vol 1 will be released in November. ^_^ Until then I can rewatch it on Tom's old vhs copies. As for Card Captor Sakura, I have vols 1-3 and 6-9, and the movie, and vol 10 is available (just not at Suncoast/Northgate at the moment) so maybe I can go out and find that.
3. Hem... I hit Northgate Silver Platters and Southcenter Silver Platters... it was sold out at both places. Hmmm.
4. Found a good web site for information on Oz, who rules which lands (what I was really looking for). I should make a big list of all the Oz books, or at least the older ones, and then try and pick them up. I have the 14 Baum books in paperback, 1 Thompson book in trade paperback, and two or three modern novels in hardback, plus the 5 Shandower graphic novels and 3 or 4 Oz Magazines (missing at least three of those). Speaking of writer/artist Eric Shandower, now I remember why I kept wanting to call Matt "Eric".
Results: Didn't really accomplish much today. Beast Computer/Hem/Magical Girl Experiment... failed.
