Oct. 5th, 2006 12:59 amToday at work was a salvage day. First, they had two desks to give away to anyone who wanted to claim them. They were already claimed by the time I got to work, not that I needed another desk. Second, there were two chairs that one of the sales guys was drafted into assembling... which turned out to be nicer chairs than the ones we already had at the office. (The sales guy explained that the difference between a cheap chair and a nice chair is that a cheap chair gets assembled with an allen wrench, a nice chair requires an actual screwdriver to assemble).
Finally they handed out large bottles of Johnny's Seasoning Salt that were salvaged... just what everyone needs, a 1 pound bottle of seasoning salt. I think I'm probably set for the next ten years in the seasoning salt department. I've never bought Johnny's Seasoning Salt before... and apparently I'll never have to do so ever again.
Tim's Cascade potato chips recently came out with one of their limited edition flavors -- Johnny's Seasoning Salt flavor. I bought a bag to try them. They were... salty.
