This is not a joke. This is real!

If you pass this e-mail on to six of your friends you will become rich in only four days... and you will get a pony! I'm serious. You'll get a super-deluxe winged pegasus rainbow pony that can teleport instantly to anywhere in the world and will grant ten wishes a day!

This is really true and it works! Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye! If you delete this e-mail you'll never know for sure!

Plus, if you don't pass this on terrible things will happen. The sky will turn red. Someone you know will become ill. Congress will repeal the two-term limit and elect George W. Bush President For Life, and Barry Manilow will become popular again! You have been warned!

I went to bed early last night, which means I went to bed on time. Is it Wednesday already? Time's fun when you're having flies, fruit flies like a banana... or something to that effect.

It's too dark when I get up now, and it was cold. I had to close the windows that I've left partly open all Summer. But the sun's shining very bright today so maybe Summer will return again for a few more days or something.

For employee appreciation day/week about three weeks ago our company handed out nice aluminum thermoses. I've used mine every morning to make hot tea and bring it to work. At first I just did this because I wanted to make use of the gift rather than let it sit around for two years or something... but it's really nice to have hot tea at my desk in the morning, especially considering we don't have a sink upstairs so I have to go downstairs to get hot water otherwise.

I've been in a rush lately (I'm always in a rush in the morning, who am I kidding?) so I've been just putting hot water in the thermos, dropping in two teabags, and sealing it up with the strings & tags hanging out. Yesterday my thermos leaked in my carry bag -- either i didn't seal it tight enough, or it was because water tends to travel along the strings and soak the tags. In any case, this morning I didn't put the thermos into my bag right away, but set it on the counter. And thus, I forgot it.

Horrors! It's amazing how quickly you get used to something. Three weeks ago I had never owned a thermos and often went all day without a cup of tea... but today I was very upset that I left my thermos of tea at home.

But I guess it'll still be hot when I return. ^_^ Anyway today is a sun tea / iced tea kind of day, as my coworker pointed out. I've got the sun tea container sitting up on the window sill right now, catching the morning sun.
