I walked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, knowing that it was supposed to rain this week. I also managed to walk Tuesday since the weather was nice. There was even a break in the weather last night, but I didn't take advantage of it. Tonight is going to be very windy and stormy so no walking tonight either.
We had some corn chips here at work left over from a potluck last Thursday -- someone had bought a 2 lb bag. Yesterday I was thinking how nice it would be to have some cheese and jalapenos to toss on the chips for nachos, so last night I picked up some stuff at the store -- 2% milk shredded cheese (4 cheese Mexican blend), ground turkey and taco seasoning, lite sour cream, jalapeno slices, green onion, tomatoes, pico de gallo, black beans, and some multi-grain organic corn chips so I could be slightly more healthy than plain corn chips. We had very good nachos today!
I worked on a Tai-Pan story last night, the one that I started last writer's night (that virtually nobody has heard anything about, since virtually nobody showed up last time). I don't have any complete scenes but the first scene is nearly complete, and every scene has bits of dialogue and stuff in it, so I should be able to stitch several scenes together for Saturday if I continue to work on it.
Guess that's about it.

Six things that make me happy:
1. Yummy nachos!
2. Getting new music to listen to. Especially lately: Bir by Pentagram, a cd by Echo of Dalriada, Hammer of Thor by Tyr, Flying Whales by Gojira, Xandria, Nightwish, Vision of Atlantis, Genesis 18:05 by Acrid Semblance (an Indian metal band -- despite the title, the song is not Biblical, it's simply a song about starting things over), Agni, The Dreamside, and My Dying Bride.
3. Stormy weather!
4. Managing to get some writing done.
5. Getting more exercise in.
6. More music! Yeah, I can't think of anything else... my life is simple.
Well okay, I'm happy that it's almost Friday. And scented candles, they're cool too.
