Today's Song: I Put A Spell On You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins

I did have a link to this video only three days ago (when my featured song of the day was a cover of this song) but if we're going to talk Halloween songs, you need to mention Screamin' Jay Hawkins and his classic original version of I Put A Spell On You. Long before Michael Jackson was putting on zombie makeup to thrill people, there was Hawkins, climbing out of a coffin on stage and thrilling people with his spooky eyes and spooky voice. This was, of course, his signature song, and it makes excellent Halloween party fare.
