miko2NaNoWriMo starts in 45 minutes, at midnight when it officially becomes November 1st.
Task: write 50,000 words by November 30th. Theoretically all part of one novel, mind you. If you do 2,000 words a night you should be cruising.
I'm waiting to see how long before I fall flat on my face here. Should I post my work in progress on my web site? Link it from here? Or do I think I might shop it to someone some day? Laugh. Writing at such a pace, I doubt I can keep the writing at a very high level, or have anything I really want people to read when I'm done, but we shall see.
