Today's Song: Silent Waters by Amorphis

Yeah I've posted a lot by this band lately, but I bought four of their cds in the last two months and they're all on my list of cds I need to listen more to.

Silent Waters is their newest release, and is brilliant -- as was their previous relese, Eclipse. I could pick just about any song from this cd and list it as my song of the day, and I've already featured the song Shaman which I absolutely love. Silent Waters is one of the most pop-oriented songs by the band, very mainstream -- watching it, you'd never suspect that they used to be a straight death metal band. But that's because they're not a straight anything band, they cover a lot of differnt metal styles in a single cd.
