Today's Song: It's Not Love (But It's Still A Feeling) by the Pipettes
My latest discovery is a group of three girls from England that was assembled specifically to attempt and revive the Phil Spector 1960's girl group sound (as exemplified by the Ronettes and the Crystals). They wear coordiated costumes (polka dot dresses/skirts) and use choreographed movements while performing. Their backing band is three guys known as the Cassettes who do not appear in photos or do interviews, since the emphasis is supposed to be on the three girls.
