miko2I went to Fry's after work, for the third time in 10 days. I picked up a 650 watt Antec power supply. I also picked up the grape earplugs for my iPod that I'd looked at on Saturday. Anyway when I got home I pulled out my old power supply (a really cheap lightweight 350 watt one) and put the new one in.
I played Second Life the rest of the evening, no problems at all. Guess that fixed it.
Since I wasted so much time goofing off in Second Life I thought I'd post some pictures:
My main character Mint Rainbow:
I was checking out a Steampunk sim. It was pretty cool.
From left to right: Rei Sin, Jalia Oz, Miko Minogue, and Mint Rainbow. I actually have five accounts... don't ask me why, but four of them are free so... I could line up five goth loli lemurs if I had five computers. ^_^
Actually... Jalia Oz was my first account and my "creator" account; Miko Minogue my alternate "party/have fun" account... and then I created Mint to be my furry/androgynous name character, with the idea that I would be a guy at least half of the time and then Mint became not only my main character but also my most girly character, so go figure.
The other two, Rei Sin and Miss Snookums, were created for no good reason other than to play around with the newbie experience again and pick silly names.
I had to buy a lemur avatar for Rei and gothic lolita outfits for Rei, Jalia, and Miko just so I could take these pictures... don't ask me why I did it.
The tiki statue with the bulging eyes and tongue is the great Shamalama Ding Dong. I call this picture "Shamalama's Little Loli Lemur Litter".
