Today's Song: Take the Reins by Tsunami Bomb

The last week I've become re-addicted to Dawn on a Funeral Day by Tsunami Bomb, which is a remarkably good song considering it came from their last cd when nearly the whole band had been replaced. (Then again... I loved the second cd by The Heart Throbs as much as their first, and they had also replaced nearly every member of the band between those two cds.)

Anyway, since I've already used Dawn as a song of the day a while back, here's one of my other favorite Tsunami Bomb songs from their first full-length cd.

BTW the chorus for this song says, "Independence doesn't start when you leave home," but for a long time I thought it said something like, "Independence, stars and stripes wear the uniform." Whatever that was supposed to mean.
