Today's Song: Blue Canoe by Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain is a folk/country/blues-rock band from Mississippi that I discovered years ago now. They count as alt-country too, although my favorite song of theirs is a cover of Skip James's Special Rider which is definitely blues rock and not country. But everything they do is great, and their cd Dog Days is just a great album all the way through.

They dont have many videos on Youtube but I found Blue Canoe being used as background music for a video of someone's vacation (involving a blue canoe). So here it is:
