Friday
I'm getting frustrated with Amazon, stuff I ordered in late December and on January 2nd hasn't even shipped yet, grrr.
In other news, I made it through another week. ^_^ Played EQ, goofed off, etc.
I've been downloading music from my friend's sekrit server. He has nearly as much music as I do, and it's all available for a select few friends to browse through. Mostly hard rock, metal, progressive rock, lots of old school 70's and 80's stuff. So I told him that he didn't have enough King's X, and he said that he'd only recently discovered them, and was still tracking down their stuff... but he DOES have four or five bootleg concert discs that I need to download. Anyway he stated listing off what he had that was EQ-related, including Ty Tabor side projects like his solo albumns, Platypus, Jelly Jam, and Jughead.
Um... Jughead?
Turns out Ty did an album with members of a band called Mustard Seed, and it came out this year, and they called themselves Jughead. Not to be confused with the speed/grass country thrash group by the same name, although allmusicguide has them confused. Anyway, Jughead is different for Ty, it's alternative pop rock, and very very good. Been listening to it since I downloaded it yesterday. ^_^
Now... off to download some Spock's Beard and see what they're about.
