Today's Song: Foggy Mountain Breakdown by Earl Scruggs and Steve Martin
Since it's just about his most famous song ever, and I got to see him play it last night, this is my song of the day. And how can you resist a version that includes Steve Martin on 2nd banjo and an all-star ensemble?
I don't think you can probably find this version on iTunes, but I'm quite sure you can find more than a few versions performed by Mr. Scruggs. He's played it a lot.

Here's Steve Martin with Bela Fleck
Actually (just to s how what I know) you can buy this version on iTunes. You won't see Steve Martin listed or credited on the song, but it's the version from the 2001 cd Earl Scruggs and Friends, and it even won a Grammy (the second time a version of that song won a Grammy for Earl Scruggs in fact).
