Today's Song: Foggy Mountain Breakdown by Earl Scruggs and Steve Martin
Since it's just about his most famous song ever, and I got to see him play it last night, this is my song of the day. And how can you resist a version that includes Steve Martin on 2nd banjo and an all-star ensemble?
I don't think you can probably find this version on iTunes, but I'm quite sure you can find more than a few versions performed by Mr. Scruggs. He's played it a lot.

You won't see Steve Martin listed or credited on the song, but it's the version from the 2001 cd Earl Scruggs and Friends, and it even won a Grammy (the second time a version of that song won a Grammy for Earl Scruggs in fact).
