Qntal is one of the many German "Medieval Rock" bands... in their case they are an "electro-medieval" band (self-described). They remind me a bit of Faun, Adaro, In Extremo, Omnia, perhaps even Garmarna or Hedningarna... and also Dead Can Dance, and Loreena McKennit. But they wind up sounding like nobody else in the end. ^_^
They sing a few songs in English, but more often they sing in Latin, Medieval German, or other European tongues. Like a lot of modern European folk-rock groups they borrow folk songs from all over the map.
