Today's Song: This Time It Will by Jeff Hanson
The novelty part of Jeff Hanson's music is his voice, a falsetto so pure that it doesn't simply sound like a woman's voice, but like that of a woman with beautiful singing voice indeed. You may have a hard time convincing yourself that it is not a woman singing. It's not something he consciously developed -- I read where when he was in grade school he sang the girl's part in choir because he could hit the high notes better than anyone else, so he's always sung like that.
The flip side is that nobody would care what he sounded like if he was just another lame singer-songwriter. He's not. He's very, very good. As many reviews I've read say, just listen to the music and don't worry about who's singing it, and you'll be hooked.
