Listening to K'Naan sing about the problems in Somalia made me think of Bob Marley and other musicians who sing about life in the third world and the need for revolution.
Two artists that came to mind were two of the first African reggae artists... Lucky Dube, who was killed a year ago in a car jacking in South Africa, and Alpha Blondy, who here sings about wanting peace in Liberia and all of Africa.
