Today's Song: Lullaby by Nox Arcana
I've been working on my Steampunk playlist all week. Interestingly, some of the period songs I've downloaded that were big hits in the 1890's or so are considered children's songs today -- songs like "Ta-Ra-Ra-Boom-De-Ay" and "The Cat Came Back". I also have a song or two from Natalie Merchant's recent cd of children's music, which is taken from songs and poems of the Victorian era and earlier. And then, there is music that is considered Steampunk that winds up sounding like lullabys or music box tunes. I have several of those.
Nox Arcana is one of these:

They've actually done more than one song that sounds like this. Here's two others, which are darker and more sinister sounding:
Nox Arcana -- Pandora's Music Box
