Today's Song: 1816, The Year Without A Summer by Rasputina
Rasputina is one of the bands that I found when I searched for "Steampunk" music. This is not just a group of Steampunk enthusiasts singing about the Victorian era however; this is a three-piece dual-cello rock band. Along with their own material they sometimes do covers of traditional rock tunes, such as Wish You Were Here, All Tomorrow's Parties, and my favorite, a cello-metal version of Heart's Barracuda.
The song 1816, Year Without A Summer is more properly about the 19th century however. It's a very interesting song.
