Tom ate the last of the spaghetti on Monday, then cooked some stew, left me some in the fridge, and went to visit his parents. I'm assuming he did that but his cars are still here, but he left me a note about the stew so I know he didn't disappear on accident. So it's been quite the last two nights.
I bought some chex ceral and nuts and crackers and pretzels and stuff. I can make chex mix now if I want to. I also bought some rice crispies and marshmallows, so I can do that too. I even have tenative plans to make chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter cookies, and cinnamon sugar cookies. I did all that one Christmas about three years ago at least. But usually I'm too lazy. But I have the rest of the week to do it.
Bought some pop and cider and stuff for the party too.
I have several people to buy Christmas presents for still. I might get desperate and do gift certificates. But at least I have most of it done. I haven't bought anything for my dad and nieces and nephew yet, but those don't have to be done by the party on Saturday, so I'm putting them off. Also I get paid Monday so I'm kind of watching my finances until then.
I ordered several things online last week, and one on Sunday. Two of the five items have already arrived. 3 more have to arrive before Saturday afternoon. :0
I also bought a few things for myself. New music: The Wrens, which is critically acclaimed but I'm not sure what I think about it yet. Spock's Beard, Snow, which sounds like other stuff I've heard by Spock's Beard, only more cohesive. Also a critically acclaimed albumn, which is why I picked it up. It's not bad, actually quite good, but it's prog rock to the extreme -- a double disc concept cd no less. Anthony would probably like it, but I don't know how many other friends of mine would really get into it.
Okay, after a few hours of work I have holiday chex mix done, and most of my presents wrapped. I feel accomplished! ^_^
I put all the presents at the feet of the holiday Data!
